The extremely cold winter and untimely spring frosts were particularly hard on our strawberries and fruit trees; there were many days here where the temperature exceeded minus 20. Consequently, we will not be opening with strawberries this year, but rather with the blueberries which we anticipate will be ripe by Friday, July 10th.
We are planning on hosting some interesting events this summer, and as soon as we have finalized the schedule, we’ll send out an email. In the meantime, should you wish to host your own event on the farm, please contact Paul at 786-348-8600 for information or a tour of the farm and its facilities. We constructed a new building last year to accommodate overnight stays which is available via Airbnb. Details can be found on our event page.
Our CBD products have performed extremely well as more people realize the health benefits of real CBD. Our proprietary hemp honey continues to receive accolades for its use as a sleep aid. Samples of our products will be available at the blueberry field but of course can be purchased on line.
We are also scheduling group tours this summer covering organic farming and aquaculture, please contact us for more information if interested.
